And now finally... My Work Experience!

Here is some of my relevant work experience including other things like volunteering and competitions.

Computer Science Tutor
Nov 2023 - Sep 2024

As a Computer Science Tutor, I helped my students understand key programming concepts and problem-solving techniques. The programming language I taught them was Python, and alongside Pygame, we were able to create a simple maze game.

During my time as a tutor, I was able to further develop my own skills in Python and my problem-solving abilities.

New Scientists Live Volunteer
Oct 2025

At the New Scientists Live event, I volunteered to help my university with displaying our Niryo robot arms. During the event I talked to many people and demonstrated how the arm worked, debugged it and also answered many questions that people had.

At the event, I was able to improve my communication skills and also my teamwork skills.

World Skills Competition
Apr 2023

For the World Skills Competition, we were challenged to complete problems which included system management tasks like disk partitioning and we also had cybersecurity tasks where we had to configure the firewall. This was all done inside a virtual machine.

This competition helped me gain experience in areas I'm weaker in like system administration and cybersecurity.

Digital Skills, AWS Project
Nov 2022 - Mar 2023

For the AWS project, we were tasked to create a solution one of 4 problems. For our team, we chose to create a game which would help address climate change in a fun way. We were able to create a prototype which we presented at the Amazon headquarters.

This project taught me a lot about time management, teamwork and communication alongside technical skills like programming and problem solving.
